The central control unit SAFE 50HUB – WRF is the heart and at the same time the controlling element of the FireSAFE security system. Thanks to its internet connection, it enables convenient configuration and control of individual parts of the FireSAFE system. All of this can be done remotely using an intuitive mobile app of the same name (for Android and iOS) designed for smartphones, tablets, and other devices. The hub monitors the activity of all connected FireSAFE CONNECTED sensors and devices, and in case of detecting danger, it immediately informs the system user in the form of an alarm and alarm push notifications in the FireSAFE app.

The central control unit SAFE 50HUB – WRF is equipped with a voice warning message system. In case of danger, malfunction, or important changes in the network or system, it will inform its user about the current situation through various types of voice messages in the form of human speech. The language of voice warning messages (including Czech localization) is optional and can be freely changed in the FireSAFE mobile app menu.

SAFE 50HUB – WRF works as an access point and supports the connection of up to 24 detectors and devices from the continuously expanding FireSAFE CONNECTED portfolio, such as fire and temperature detectors, carbon monoxide or flammable and explosive gas detectors, environmental sensors and other components.

The central control unit SAFE 50HUB – WRF enables easy integration of FireSAFE overview IP cameras into the system for verification of fire events, FireSAFE IP thermal cameras for detecting rising temperatures in monitored zones of interest (electric trains, e-bikes and scooters, battery storage, lithium battery storage, etc.) or FireSAFE IP cameras for flame detection in monitored spaces.

The central unit supports connection to the internet network both via an Ethernet cable (not included in the delivery) and Wi-Fi. Once the SAFE 50HUB – WRF is connected to the internet, all functions can be used through the free FireSAFE app of the same name (Android and iOS in Czech localization).

CONNECTED is a modern radio protocol designed specifically for the FireSAFE wireless fire safety system. It utilizes the frequency band 868.0–868.6 MHz and enables reliable communication between individual system elements at distances up to 1000 meters in open space without interference. Thanks to advanced data integrity control using CRC8 methodology and bidirectional data transmission, safe and reliable information transfer is ensured. In case of radio signal interference, the system alerts the user and automatically switches to an interference-free frequency band. Protection against viruses is implemented at the software level, ensuring high resistance of the device against cyber threats. The CONNECTED radio protocol thus emphasizes maximum and effective protection of the FireSAFE wireless fire safety system.

Wireless communication of detectors with the central unit SAFE 50HUB – WRF offers the possibility of easy installation of individual detectors without the need for cabling. This means that most system components can be placed easily and almost anywhere. For even simpler commissioning of the central unit and the entire system, a graphical wizard localized into Czech language will guide you step by step, available immediately after the first launch of the FireSAFE mobile app.
