Important safety information and warnings
This manual contains important safety information about instalation and operation of the alarm. Carefully read the manual and store it in a safe place for future reference.
Operation requirements
WARNING
Do not ignore the detector alarm under any circumstances, doing so could result in serious injury or death.
Exposing the detector to high or low temperatures or high humidity can significantly reduce battery life.
CAUTION
- Before using the device, make sure the detector is properly installed in the mounting bracket and its power supply has been activated.
- Use the device in accordance with the instructions given for the operating environment.
- Transport, use and store the equipment under the humidity and temperature conditions permitted by the manufacturer
- Do not expose the product to water or moisture, dripping or splashing water.
- Do not insert any objects into the ventilation holes of the product, do not cover the product and prevent water or other liquids from entering the detector
- This fire detector is designed only to indicate temperature rise and is not intended to detect the presence of smoke, carbon monoxide (CO), flammable gases, or other hazards.

CAUTION
- When working at heights, follow all safety procedures and use the required protective equipment designed for this purpose.
- Do not expose the product to direct sunlight, extreme cold and humidity or sudden temperature changes.
- Before using the device, you must affix the information label (see Picture) „WARNING! – The battery is not replaceable see the user‘s manual“ in your language.
- If construction work that generates dust is being carried out in your area, you should remove the device from its mounting bracket to prevent contamination or mechanical damage. If this is not possible for any reason, you need to cover the detector (e.g., with a plastic bag) during the work to prevent dust contamination.
- Installation and handling of this device must always comply with local electrical safety requirements, requirements for protection against electric shock, and other relevant regulations.
Introducing the device
Information about the device
The Wireless Temperature Fire Alarm (hereinafter also referred to as „device“) is designed to detect and signal the temperature rise of fires that are not accompanied by smoke, providing early warning of impending danger when a rapid temperature increase is detected in the monitored area. The device utilizes advanced Class A1 thermistor temperature sensor technology, featuring a built-in loud alarm buzzer, fast, accurate and reliable danger detection response combined with stable performance and high resistance to false alarms. The fixed temperature alarm point in Class A1 is calibrated within the range of +54°C to +65°C. When the heat concentration around the thermistor sensor reaches the alarm level, the detector immediately triggers acoustic and optical alarm signals to inform users about the approaching danger so they can take appropriate measures. The detector also includes an integrated RF module that allows two or more FireSafe detectors (up to 24 units) to be wirelessly connected to create an interconnected network. In this case, if one of the devices triggers an alarm, it will send a signal via radio and all other FireSafe detectors connected in the network will respond to the alarm. An intelligent Hub FireSafe central control unit can be added to such wireless network. This unit enables convenient setup and control of the complex FireSafe system remotely via an intuitive app of the same name (for Android and iOS) for smartphones, tablets or in a desktop version for PCs, thanks to the Internet connection. The Hub monitors the activity of all connected FireSafe detectors and devices and immediately informs the system user in the form of push notifications if a danger is detected.

Mutual interconnection
Mutual interconnection of wireless devices
This device can only be paired with FireSafe wirelessly connectable devices. It is not intended to communicate with other brands or manufacturers of wirelessly connectable devices.
Preparing the device before connection
Make sure all devices are activated and powered before you start connecting devices wirelessly. To activate the fire detector, insert the detector into the mounting bracket and rotate it clockwise until it clicks into the fixing position.
WARNING
Make sure that you pair multiple wireless devices sequentially by only connecting two devices to each other at a time. Otherwise, the connection may fail or one of the devices may malfunction.
How to connect the devices
Step 1 – Invoking pairing mode
On the first paired device, press the button TEST / 🔈✖ 4 times in short succession (the interval between each press must be less than 1 second), the device will emit 1 short acoustic tone and the LED indicator will flash red in short regular intervals (approximately once every 0.5 seconds) to indicate that the device has entered pairing mode.
Note
Only one device needs to be in pairing mode to connect to the same network. Avoid having multiple devices in pairing mode at the same time.
Step 2 – Connecting a second device to the network
Press the button TEST / 🔈✖ on the other device twice in short succession (the interval between each press must be less than 1 second), the device will emit 1 short acoustic tone and the red LED indicator will flash red in short regular intervals (approximately once every 0.25 seconds) to indicate that the other device has switched to transmission mode.
Step 3 – Pairing confirmation
Once the connection is successful by pairing the two devices, the other device will emit a short beep and the LED indicator will flash green to indicate that the network connection was successful. The green indicator will flash all the time until device 1 exits pairing mode or until you press the button TEST / 🔈✖ on device 2 to switch to normal mode.
Note
Device 1 will be in pairing mode for 3 minutes. The pairing mode is identified by a flashing red LED approximately once every 0.5 seconds. During this time window you can connect other devices to the network one by one. If necessary, you can manually press the button TEST / 🔈✖ to exit the pairing mode of the device (the LED indicator will be red for 3 seconds then flash green and the device will emit 1 short beep to indicate that it has exited pairing mode.
When you press the button TEST / 🔈✖ on device 1 to interrupt pairing mode, device 2 also exits connection mode and switches to normal operating mode.
Step 4 – Connecting a third device
If device 1 is still in pairing mode and device 2 has been successfully added to the network and is no longer in pairing mode (forced exit from pairing mode), you can continue by adding another device to the network. As follows:
On the third device, press the button TEST / 🔈✖ 2 times in short succession (the interval between each press must be less than 1 second), the device will emit 1 short acoustic tone and the red LED indicator will be permanently lit. When connected to the network, the red LED indicator will go off and the green LED indicator will flash until you manually exit pairing mode by pressing it TEST / 🔈✖ or until the pairing mode timeout (3 minutes) expires.
Step 5 – Connecting other devices
To add more devices, repeat step 4.
Note
Up to 24 FireSafe wireless devices can be connected to the network using the procedure above.
Step 6 – Functionality Verification
Once all wireless devices are connected, test all devices on the wireless network

Removal of wireless devices from the network
Step 1 – Invoking pairing mode
On the first paired device, press the button TEST / 🔈✖ 4 times in short succession (the interval between each press must be less than 1 second), the device will emit 1 short acoustic tone and the LED indicator will flash red in short regular intervals (approximately once every 0.5 seconds) to indicate that the device has entered pairing mode.
Step 2 – Removal of the device from the network
Press and hold the button TEST / 🔈✖ until the red LED indicator stops flashing, then release the button. The device emits 1 short beep and the LED indicator flashes green once to indicate that the device has been removed from the network.
Note
If there are other devices on the network, it will also emit 1 short beep and its LED indicator will flash green once to indicate that a device has been removed from the wireless network. Remove all devices on the network if you want to connect them to another wireless network.
Connection to the Hub FireSafe central unit
You can add an intelligent central control unit to the wireless network, which is a key element of the FireSafe security system.
This unit allows you to conveniently set up and control the complex FireSafe system remotely using the intuitive FireSafe app (for Android and iOS) for smartphones, tablets or desktop version for PCs. The Hub monitors the activity of all connected FireSafe detectors and devices and immediately informs the system user in the form of push notifications if a hazard is detected.
Note
Make sure that the Hub is connected to power and the Internet network before you put it into pairing mode. If you connect a device that is part of a standalone wireless network to the FireSafe Hub, all devices on that network connect to the Hub at the same time.
WARNING
Pair each device one at a time to ensure that all devices on the network are successfully added and paired. Otherwise, there is a risk that devices will not be paired correctly or will not work properly.
Adding a central unit to the wireless network
Step 1 – Setting up the Hub FireSafe central unit
a) connect your smartphone to a Wi-Fi network
b) install the FireSafe app from the Apple Store (for iOS) or Goole Play (for Android) on your smartphone
c) connect the FireSafe Hub to a power source
d) connect the FireSafe Hub via Ethernet cable (not included) or Wi-Fi to the Internet
e) launch the application and perform basic application setup
f) In the FireSafe app, click the (+) button to add the device, scan the QR code located on the back of the Hub and enter the required information displayed by the setup guide in the app
g) confirm the successful addition of the Hub (gateway) in the FireSafe application.
h) Then click the Save button

Step 2 – Switching the central unit to pairing mode
Press the „PAIRING“ button on the Hub 3 times in short succession to pair (the interval between each press must be less than 1 second), the LED indicator will flash green at short intervals (approximately once every 0.5 seconds) to indicate that the Hub has entered pairing mode. The pairing mode can be manually exited by pressing the „PAIRING“ button.
Step 3 – Pairing the device with the central unit
On the wireless device you want to connect, press the button TEST / 🔈✖ 3 times in short succession (the interval between each press must be less than 1 second). The device will emit a short acoustic signal and the green LED indicator will flash at short intervals (approximately once every 0.25 seconds) to indicate pairing.
Step 4 – Verifying the pairing
If the device is successfully added to the network, the device will emit a short acoustic signal and the LED indicator will flash slowly in green for one minute. The device will then switch to normal operating mode.
Step 5 – Adding another device
To add another device to the wireless network, after successfully pairing the previous device, exit pairing mode by pressing the button TEST / 🔈✖ and repeat step 3 with the new device. If the central unit‘s „pairing interval“ of 1 minute has elapsed and the central unit is no longer in pairing mode, switch the central unit to pairing mode by following step 2.

Note
The Hub‘s pairing mode can also be manually forced to end by pressing the „PAIRING“ button.

Installation position
Recommended Placement of Fire Alarms

CAUTION
- Installation must be performed by a competent person. The installer is responsible for installing the device in accordance with applicable regulations. If in doubt about the installation, please consult qualified professionals or contact our technical support.
- This device is intended for use in standard interior spaces of residential units. The construction and layout of individual rooms will vary, therefore consider this placement only as indicative.
- For maximum fire protection, heat detectors should always be installed in combination with smoke detectors. Heat detectors are suitable for installation in spaces such as boiler rooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, attics, lofts, garages, workshops, etc., where false alarms from optical smoke detection technology are likely due to high humidity, vapors, chemicals, dust, or the presence of smoke particles.
- This fire temperature detector is also suitable for use in mobile homes and caravans.
- Temperature detectors should not be installed directly in bathrooms or too close to their doors, as steam and high humidity could negatively affect their operation.
- Avoid installing fire detectors near fluorescent lights and other light sources, as these could negatively affect the operation and proper function of the detector.
- When installing a heat detector on sloped ceilings, a maximum distance of 150 mm measured vertically downward from the apex of the highest point is required.
- For testing and required maintenance purposes, the temperature sensor should be installed in accessible locations.
- The detector‘s ventilation openings must not be covered or otherwise sealed.
- National regulations vary regarding the number and placement of smoke detectors.
- In case of doubt, contact the fire and rescue service.
- The manufacturer allows ceiling installation of the device; wall mounting of this detector is not recommended by the manufacturer. Heat detectors should not be installed on escape routes instead of smoke detectors. They should only be used in the above-mentioned applications and, where possible, be interconnected with smoke detectors.
- Ceiling installation
Install the temperature detector at least 300 mm away from walls, light fixtures, or other obstacles. Mount it on the ceiling at a maximum distance of 5.3 m from the farthest wall, 5.3 m from doors to rooms where a fire may originate, and 5.3 m from other temperature detectors – see figures. The manufacturer recommends installing additional temperature fire detectors as supplementary protection in cases where the protected space is divided by closed doors or other obstacles that may interfere with effective fire detection or attenuate the acoustic alarm signal.


- Installation on sloped ceiling
If the inclination is less than 45°, the appropriate distance is at least When installing the detector on a sloped saddle or cathedral ceiling, position it within 900 mm from the highest point (measured horizontally from the higher side wall) and at least 150 mm from the peak of the highest point (measured vertically), see figure.

Installation steps
Follow the steps below for proper installation of the device
Step 1 – Select a suitable location for the installation of the smoke detector.
Step 2 –Drill holes in the installation location using the mounting bracket (⌀6mm). Insert the dowels into the prepared holes.
Step 3 – Attach the bracket using the self-tapping screws.

Step 4 – Installation of the device
- Affix the information label (see Picture).
- „WARNING! – Battery is not replaceable see user manual” in your language to the device.
- Insert the detector into the mounting bracket and rotate it clockwise until it reaches the locking position (see Picture).
- If it is necessary to remove the detector from the mounting bracket rotate the device counterclockwise.
WARNING
After the detector is fixed in the mounting bracket it automatically activates. This status is indicated by a short beep of the buzzer and a red flash of the LED indicator. The device then initializes for a few seconds and automatically enters monitoring/operational mode.
Monitoring mode signalization
- Green LED indicator flashes 1x every 60 seconds.
Alarm indication
When the thermistor sensor of the detector detects a temperature increase in the sensor area between 54°C and 65°C, the device will indicate an alarm optically through flashing of the red LED indicator accompanied by a loud buzzer alarm (1 flash of the red LED indicator with 1 beep of the buzzer per second – repeating) and simultaneously initiate a fire alarm in the wireless network by transmitting a radio signal.
After other fire detectors connected in the network receive this radio signal, they will also trigger a fire alarm, which will be indicated by 3 long acoustic buzzer tones accompanied by flashing of the red LED indicator in regular repetitions.
If a smart central control unit is also connected to the wireless network, the FireSafe Hub will monitor the activity of all connected FireSafe detectors and devices. In the event that the central control unit receives an alarm signal from any of the devices on the network, it will immediately notify the system user of the danger via alarm push notifications on the FireSafe mobile app.
Testing the detector and its maintanance
Testing
After installation or during regular maintenance, the detector must be tested to prove its functionality. If you encounter a problem while testing the device, read the information in the „Frequently Asked Questions” and „Maintenance” sections for solutions to some situations and then retest the detector. If the testing is not completed successfully, send the device in for a claim.
Testing the device itself
Press the button TEST / 🔈✖ briefly , the buzzer tone sounds and the LED indicator flashes red, followed by a pause, followed by the buzzer beeping 2 times in succession accompanied by the flashing of the red LED indicator, pause again, and then it repeats once more.
Testing a device connected in a wireless network
Press and hold the button TEST / 🔈✖ of any fire detector connected to the wireless network. The detector will emit one short audible tone accompanied by one flash of the red LED indicator and transmit a test mode radio signal. Hold the button TEST / 🔈✖ until the test mode signal is indicated by other wireless fire detectors connected in the network by emitting one short acoustic tone accompanied by alternating flashes of the green and red LED indicators
Testing devices connected to the network through the FireSafe HUB
In the FireSafe app, select the device you want to test and press the „Test“ button
Note
If any of the devices does not emit any acoustic or optical signal during testing, check that it is properly connected to the wireless network.
Temporary alarm mute
When the temperature concentration reaches the preset alarm value, the device will indicate an alarm optically through flashing of the red LED indicator accompanied by a loud buzzer alarm (85 dB): 1 red LED flash per second along with 1 buzzer beep simultaneously.
In the event of a false alarm, the acoustic signalling can be temporarily muted by pressing the button TEST / 🔈✖ . The temporary mute mode is signalled by the device by flashing the red LED indicator once per second. If the temperature concentration subsequently drops below the preset values, the detector automatically returns to normal operating mode.
Temporary mute of an alarm of a device connected in a wireless network
Pressing the button TEST / 🔈✖ on the fire detector that initiated the alarm will temporarily silence the audible alarm signaling of all devices connected in the wireless network. Pressing the button TEST / 🔈✖ on any fire detector other than the one that initiated the alarm will temporarily silence the audible alarm of all devices on the wireless network except the detector that initiated the alarm.
Malfunction
If a malfunction is diagnosed by the device, this condition will be indicated by the detector as follows:
- The red LED indicator flashes twice every 60 seconds. In this state the device is not functional. Check detector the for damage, clean the ventilation holes of the detector e.g. with a vacuum cleaner. Test the device by pressing the button TEST / 🔈✖ and follow the information in the chapters „Frequently asked questions“ and „Maintenance“.

⚠ CAUTION
This fire detector in alarm mode can also be temporarily silenced via the infrared remote control (most remote controls for household appliances such as TVs). Pressing any button on the remote control activates the temporary silencing function, in which the device remains in for 9 minutes. After this time interval elapses, the detector switches back to alarm mode, or if the temperature concentration falls below the alarm threshold, it returns to normal operating mode.
Low battery voltage, end-of-life indication
- If the capacity and voltage of the power supply battery drops below a certain threshold or the end of the life of the device is approaching, the detector will signal this condition by flashing the red LED indicator once accompanied by a buzzer beeping once at regular 60 second intervals for 30 days before the battery is completely discharged.
- WARNING – The battery in this unit is built-in and not replaceable. If the detector battery is empty, replace it with a new one.
Care and maintanance
To keep your device in good working order, follow these instructions and recommendations:
- Perform a simulated fire alarm test at least once a week by pressing the button TEST / 🔈✖ , to verify proper operation of the device. If a problem is detected, follow the information in the „Frequently Asked Questions“ and „Maintenance“ sections. If this information has not helped you, contact our technical support.
- The detector should be cleaned at least once a month. If the detector needs to be cleaned, remove it from the mounting bracket by turning it counterclockwise. Remove any accumulated dust particles in the of the detector with a vacuum cleaner. The outside of the detector can then be wiped with a wet cloth. After cleaning, reinstall the detector back into the mounting bracket and test the device by using the test button TEST / 🔈✖ . Avoid cleaning the detector with cleaning solutions or solvents to prevent possible contamination of the sensor and loss of the warranty.
- Do not paint the device. Paint can seal the air circulation openings and impair the device‘s detection capabilities.
- Do not place the device in areas prone to vibrations and shocks – they can cause damage to the device.
- Do not expose the detector to excessive pressure, shock, dust, high temperature or humidity – these may cause the device to malfunction, shorten its life or damage the battery or deform plastic parts.Do not place any sources of open flame, such as a lit lighter, candle, etc., on or near the device.
- Do not install the detector in places where there is insufficient airflow, near fans or other air handling equipment
- Do not disassemble the detector or tamper with the internal electrical circuits of the device. Any such attempt will result in loss of the warranty. The product can only be serviced or repaired by a manufacturer‘s authorized service center.• If the detector is damaged or if there is any malfunction, do not carry out any repairs yourself. Contact your dealer or our service support.
- This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental incapacity or lack of experience or knowledge prevents them from using the equipment safely, unless they are supervised or have been instructed in the use of this equipment by a person responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
- The detector will need to be replaced after 10 years from the date of installation, see the date of installation label on the back of the detector.

Safety habits
Planning and practicing evacuation
- Place fire extinguishers on every floor of the house, in the kitchen, basement and garage and keep them in working, serviceable condition. Learn to operate fire extinguishers before an emergency occurs.
- Make an evacuation diagram of the building including each floor with all doors and windows and mark at least two main escape routes. When planning the use of windows on the second floor, you may need to consider the use of a rope or evacuation ladder.
- Familiarise everyone with the fire evacuation plan (everyone should know what to do in the event of a fire).
- Outside the building, designate an evacuation point where you will all meet in the event of a fire.
- Familiarize everyone with the fire alarm signal and instruct them to evacuate the building immediately upon noticing the alarm.Conduct fire drills with evacuation training at least once every six months, including during night hours. Ensure that even young children can hear the fire alarm signal and can be woken up when it sounds. Waking up all individuals early presents an opportunity for early evacuation along the escape route. These drills will allow everyone to test the evacuation plan before an actual emergency. It is possible that you may not be able to reach your children in the event of a fire, so it is important that they too know what to do in such a situation.
What to do in case of an alarm
- Wake up small children.
- Immediately leave the threatened area along your proposed escape route. Time is precious, so don‘t waste it dressing or collecting valuables. During an evacuation, never open an interior door without first touching it. If the door is hot or smoke is coming in through the joints, do not open it under any circumstances! Instead, use an alternative escape route. If the door is not hot, brace yourself against it with your shoulder and open it carefully, but still be prepared to close the door immediately if heat or heavy smoke should penetrate to you.
- If you are in an area with a concentration of smoke, move close to the ground. Breathe slowly and ideally through wetted textiles.
- Once you get out of the building, go to your designated evacuation point and make sure everyone is present.
- Always contact the relevant units of the integrated rescue system when you are safe!
- Do not return to the building until the danger has passed.
Disposal

Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use sorted waste collection points. Contact your local authority for up-to-date information on collection points. If electrical appliances are dumped in landfill sites, hazardous substances can seep into groundwater and enter the food chain, harming your health.

Ten-year warranty
- The manufacturer warrants that the enclosed fire detector will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of ten years from the date of sale. The manufacturer‘s obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing, replacing the or any of its parts found to be defective in material or workmanship, free of charge, after detector sending the detector together with proof of the date of purchase and postage paid to the service centre at SAFE HOME europe s.r.o., Čechova 1005/4, 750 02 Přerov, Czech Republic.
- This warranty is invalidated if the product has been damaged, altered, misused, modified, or if it stops working due to poor maintenance or improper placement after purchase.
- Any implied warranties arising out of this sale, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of description, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the duration of this warranty.
- Under no circumstances shall the manufacturer or any of its parent companies, subsidiaries, or our agents or distributors be liable for any loss of functionality of this product or for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or costs or expenses incurred by the consumer or any other user of this product, whether due to breach of contract, negligence, strict liability in tort or otherwise.
